The driver and guide meet you at your hotel around 6:30 for the transfer by car or bus from Hanoi to Haiphong (2,5h) and by boat from Haiphong to Cat Ba Island (1h) . Arrival in Cat Ba around 10h.

You will have a time to discover Cat Ba on visiting the Cat Ba market, have a coffee in front of the port to admiring the colourful and charming fishing boats. 

Boarding on your private junk about 12h. 

Seafood lunch while the junk starts sailing through Lan Ha Bay, a protected site part of Cat Ba National Park.

We then enter Halong Bay, sailing towards isolated islands, cruising through passages inaccessible to larger boats.

We stop on a isolated small beach for swimming and/or kayaking weather permitting.

Visit of the Hang Ca Lagoon, accessible by a small craft through a tunnel.

Breakfast on board and we continue the navigation through Lan Ha and Halong Bays, towards Bai Tu Long Bay, which the legend claims to be the one where the dragon which made the bays arrived. 

We spend the day navigating, swimming on the desert beach, kayaking.

Having lunch on board, and just relaxing. 

We then sail to Ong Cam area for another delicious diner and a second night on Oriental Sun.

If the weather is permit and you would like, we can do cycling visiting the beautiful Viet Hai fishing village. 

Cruise to Rang Dua to visit Me Cung Cave.

Back on board, cruise among thousands of sugar loaf shapes.

Check-out before 10am. Lunch aboard. 

Disembarkation at Hon Gai harbor to go back to Hanoi.

Return to Hanoi, where you arrive at your hotel around 18:00.
